I have built a fire 2 times now. I didn't realize that these new stoves require building a fire in almost reverse compared to what I am used to. I am thrilled with the burning efficiency! The first fire was 4 medium split wood pieces & it heated for over 7 hours! Completely amazing! Tonight my kitties curled up in front of the fire & just snoozed! Looking so forward to using this new wood stove insert this winter!
